AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is no longer a science fiction scenario. Today, it is an everyday tool in our hands. It helps us write emails, find information, create articles, images, or videos, organize our next trip, and much more.

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n Artificial Intelligence does not have consciousness. It is based on mathematical models programmed to read vast amounts of data from the internet, such as books, articles, and research papers. It combines this data to provide answers to our queries.<\/p>\n If we had to explain AI to a child, we would tell them it is a computer with massive memory and processing power, designed to “read” the entire internet. When we ask it to create something\u2014for example, a photo of a happy dog in front of the Acropolis\u2014the result is not based on its imagination, but on the fact that it has “seen” millions of images of dogs and the Acropolis, thus learning to recognize and compose them.<\/p>\n If you have posted a photo of the Acropolis or a happy dog in the past, then congratulations: you have also contributed to the training of AI and the image it created.<\/p>\n In the world of AI, there are dozens of “players” ready to answer our questions via chatbots<\/b>. These are programs that act as intermediaries between us and the AI, conveying our commands to the system and displaying the answers on our screens.<\/p>\n The most well-known are:<\/b><\/p>\n The pioneering ChatGPT<\/b> by OpenAI<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Google’s Gemini<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Microsoft’s Copilot<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Meta AI<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n DeepSeek<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n And Grok<\/b> from the X platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n To better understand what prompts are, let\u2019s recall Google searches. There, we would type keywords, and it would show us websites containing them. We then had to read through the results ourselves to find the information.<\/p>\n In Artificial Intelligence, things are different. We ask a question and get an answer. The more descriptive our question, the more accurate the answer will be. For example, if we want to go on vacation, it helps a lot to mention the season, the duration, whether it is a family or business trip, and if we prefer the sea or the mountains.<\/p>\n Example prompt:<\/b> “I will be traveling with my family to Rhodes in August for two weeks. Suggest 5 seaside resorts within a 50-kilometer radius of the airport.”<\/i><\/p>\n Having seen what it does, let\u2019s see what it doesn’t do. Artificial Intelligence does not possess thought, consciousness, or judgment. No matter how correct an answer may seem, it can contain errors. AI did not come to replace humans, but to become our digital assistant.<\/p>\n Fun Fact:<\/b> In 2025, Elon Musk’s Grok<\/b>, when asked questions regarding the President of Turkey, responded with insults against him, resulting in the app being blocked in the neighboring country.
